Framed The Jewish Bride

Description : Framed print by Mali Ware, based on the painting by Rembrandt ca 1665‒1669. "The Jewish Bride" is an early 19th century title for the piece and really has nothing to do with Rembrandt's original idea for the piece. However, given the general lack of Jewish people portrayed in classic paintings, I wanted to lean into it. I wanted to turn this piece into a celebration of trans love by showing a t4t family full of love and adoration for each other and their unborn child. We all deserve love and respect for our gender regardless of how we present it.
