Procreate + Risograph Zine Class by Sonny Honey Press

this zine making class is for beginners and seasoned zinesters alike! whether you want to learn everything from square 1 or just want a little more structure to help your next zine project come true, this is the perfect class for you. this class does require the use of procreate which is unfortunately only available on the ipad or iphone (we will have future classes with a lower barrier to access, this is just one way to make ur zines!)

ticket cost covers all 5 weeks of classes and any 1 of the following

-50 copies of a 1 color 1 page risograph zines

-35 2 color 1 page risograph zines

-25 1 color 4 page risograph zines

-20 2 color 4 pages risograph zines

class schedule is from 5:15-7pm on the following wednesdays:

week 1 (jun 7)- people intro, zine intro + examples, procreate intro, quick warm ups, story/ content brainstorming, assign hw + question times, then work time if there is any left

week 2 (jun 14)- warm ups, review homework from session 1 and critique (this is a chill fun time to get feedback (Sonny wont let anybody crush ur soul or rain on ur parade), then we will get into some procreate file types + proper formatting

week 3 (jun 21)- final zine content due this day, formatting in procreate together, digital print proofs, planning for the riso appt and practicing binding techniques

week 4 (jun 28)- printing at outlet! + binding our zines 

week 5 (july 5)- finish binding and final show and tell + trades!
