I sketched this piece while grieving a woman whose life had been harsh and unfair, and in turn often so was she, but i hope in her next journey she is shown all the softness and care every creature deserves, i hope she finds solace and safety and joy, i hope pain is a memory that takes work to find and fades faster than it was found, i hope she would look at me now with kinder eyes than she did as a grew up and away from her dreams, i hope she gets to live every moment she wanted without the vicious curse of vicarious wants, i hope that if i ever see her again she understands the distance and in doing so squashes it, i love you, and i'm sorry i couldn't be there to say goodbye
